burdiehouse is a very well run school and my mum works there and it is miss mutch

Attended Burdiehouse Primary in the early-mid eighties, was a great school. Looking for some old class mates such as Steven Clark aka Vin, David Smith, Craig Brown aka Archie, Connie Scougal.

hi ma names nicole-danielle and i went to burdie hous when i was 7 and i loved it the teacher i loved the best was miss morgan i had her in p3 and i would love to be back in the primary but i will alway remember the good days i had

Hi to all pupils and staff who attended Burdiehouse Primary when I was there, I had a fantastic time when I was there and very memorable, it will be very sad if this does get closed for pupil and staff, please save this school and let all the new pupils who will be there in the future to have a great time as I did.

There was a fair at the school today Friday 15th June 2007 and it turned out to be a very good day even though the weather wasnt very good. Remember they are always looking out for new parents to join the PTA with new ideas. See one of the Parents or Teachers from the school.

I have been thinking of training as a Primary school teacher for some time now and I was very pleased when Mrs Appolinari said that I could come into school to have a look around and see what happens 'behind the scenes'!.
Everyone from the Nursery class to P7 was extremely helpful and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for making me feel very welcome and sharing your school day with me. I am now sure that I would like to be a Primary School teacher. THANK YOU.

I love the school and i will always remember my first teacher I had and that teacher was Mrs Harper and I will never forget looking after Rhys Craig. He is my best friend forever. I can't believe he has to go to another high school.

I went to Burdiehouse Primary between '71 - '77 in the time when Mr Chisholm was the headmaster. I was the tallest pupil in the school and only Mr Chisholm and Mr Brown were taller than me.

My favourite teacher was Mrs Sutherland.

I still like to go down memory lane and visit the school regularly.

Pupils can feel homoured that they attend probably the best primary school in Edinburgh.

nee thorburn. Only when my girls locating via old schools that i thought i'd try? Parents still live at southhouse. I visit when I can. The school looks as if it has changed a lot. Not kept in contact ince i left. Names that come to mind are Lynn Bruce, Ian Robinson, Frances, Linda Scott,Janet Lambert, Isa Noon, Derek, Thomas, Met someone on a train once who still lives locally. Burdiehouse primary school was fantastic time for me. I remember school assembly on a Wednesday and Friday and football during breaks. Sports day was great as well, we had teams such as Liberton, Starighton and Kaimes....I was in Kaimes !! I hope Burdiehose does not close as this would be a huge loss for kids and parents. Everybodt complains thers's to many pupils in the class, Burdiehouse is unique as pupils do get more attention from teachers and better results because of the reduction in class numbers. Wake up education department !!!!!

PS YOU SHOULD HAVE AN OPEN DAY FOR PAST PUPILS AND TEACHERS

Im just writing to sat that i used to be a pupil at this school but i left a few years ago to go and live in Newcastle... It's nice to see that the school hasn't changed one little bit! I think my teacher was called Miss Macdonald!

We have been visiting your school last week as a group of visitors from Holland and we liked it very much. We got a lot of attention from your teachers and learned many interesting things about your computerised library and your ict facility's.
